Furthermore, due to limitations on the screen capture and scaling software, the thumbnails and popups might have some jaggedness in its rendering. These images mis-represent the actual quality of the graphics in Precision POS.

Main Entry Panel

This is the main entry point into the application. Every employee should be assigned an access code that associates them with a security role. From this panel, you could logon to the main application, clock in/out, break in/out, view reports, and access the back office.

Once logged in the user must log out in order to secure the application. As a precaution, Precision POS has an inactivity auto-logout feature that will secure the system after a configurable specific amount of time.

As seen below, the Precision POS has theme capabilities.

Ordering

The ordering screen allows you to place or edit an order along with other operations. The menu groups are displayed to the left. Each menu group could have up to 5 pages of menu items with 45 items displayed per page (225 total). Furthermore, the number of menu groups are unlimited (18 menu groups per page). All menu item's colors, graphics, and positions are configurable.

Table Selection

The table selection screen allows you to assign a table to a dine in customer. Furthermore, you could see what tables have customers and how long the table has been occupied. Additional features allow you to filter tables on attributes like smoking, window seating, booth seating, and guest count. Finally, table details give you more specific information about the table. From the details screen, the server of the table could be alerted that their table needs their attention.

Customer Recall

The customer recall screen gives you details about a specific customer. This would include name, phone number, address, email, and various notes. Additional displayed information includes, customer sales related data and links to customer history, charges, credits, and prank calls.

Order Recall

The order recall is the central hub to the application. From this panel, you could do numerous operations like settle, edit, split, combine, void, send alerts, and void operations. Furthermore, filter orders, print receipts, and search on various attributes of an order. There are many other operations not listed but the screenshot should be self-explanatory. This panel could display an unlimited amount of orders (8 per page).

Credit Card Integration

Precision POS has built in software to handle credit cards. This software will communicate with the merchant bank for authorization, etc of an order. This module comes standard with all versions of Precision POS.

Promotion / Discounts

A extensive promotion / discount related feature is built into Precision POS. Promotions could be configured on price, item(s), date, time, day, order type, customer,and promotion code. If you want 50% off appetizers excluding wings on Mon-Weds from 8PM-10PM, its configurable. How about auto-redemption on largest qualifying promotion? Precision POS supports it! How many other POS systems could do this? This screen shows the all the custom coupons (configurable) that are currently active and which ones are available

Settle

The settle screen allows you to apply monetary related operations on an order. This would include applying/changing promotions, gift certificates, customer credits, gratuities, etc. Customer comments allow you to give feedback

Security Configuration

One of the more important features of a Point of Sale system is the security. Who could do what? So many of the systems on the market allow only a few levels (5 or so) of security. Precision POS allows an unlimited amount of security groups. A security group is configured to enable / disable certain actions. Precision POS has 60+ actions that could be secure. Finally, a security group is associated with one or more employees. Customization of security per employee is limitless.

Reporting

Precision POS has the most extensive reporting module in the industry. It is is essential to achieve business growth, manage a marketing plan, and to eliminate theft. Precision POS delivers on this requirement. Our system has over 40 reports on topics like sales, customers, employees, security, auditing, etc. Example: Do you have a suspicion of management modifying their time cards to gain a few more hours? We have a report on time card modifications.
